Rescue Stories
Please note, some of the pictures in some of these stories can be quite distressing.
Bullies In Need was started in March 2004 and has certainly snowballed during that time, having rehomed over 200 bullies so far! On the one hand this is good news as it means that people are aware of what we are trying to do and that can only be a plus, but on the downside it means that we are, without doubt, only seeing the tip of the iceberg with the amount of bullies that need help out there. The vast majority of dogs we have helped have of course gone on to be very happy in their new homes, but like anything sometimes things do go wrong and a dog with a bad temperament, or mentally disturbed, sometimes cannot be helped and this is something that we do have to accept too. Thankfully we have only come across a very small handful of these poor dogs and the happy endings far outweigh the sad ones.
We've been endeavouring to do some sort of write up on the all dogs we have either rehomed ourselves, or helped to rehome, for quite some time but it is has taken a lot longer than expected as bullies in need just keep coming unfortunately, leaving less and less time for anything else. Below are short pieces about each dog and, where available, pictures of them happy in their new homes. They are not in any particular order of rehoming I'm afraid!
