No its not the name of one of our dogs! It is a company that produces various exhibition and display products and they are running a competition with the prize being vouchers to spend on their items. The link to their site is;

Anyone who has been with me on our stand at a fundraising event will know how I like the stand to look 'just so'. This isn't because I am obsessed with neatness (just look at my living room!), but because people at events have the choice of several stalls to visit and you need to stand out from the crowd to attract them to ours. Then when they get there they need something to look at to keep them there. We don't just take the stall to events to raise money but for awareness too and to get the information over we need a good display, which at the moment consists of a cork board leant against a table, it serves it's purpose to a degree, but it isn't easy for people to read and certainly doesn't look that attractive, despite us doing our best to make it so. We did have a table top display board but it was borrowed by an ex volunteer and sadly never returned and we can't justify spending that amount of money again as it is money that could be used directly for the dogs. I have now learned my lesson on who to let use pieces of kit!
If we could win the Table Top Kit we would get a tablecloth with our logo, a lovely table top display board where we could display the dogs needing homes plus advice on neutering, chipping etc. and a literature stand for the handouts we usually have to chase all over the field when a gust of wind blows!  This would help enormously, hopefully would not only help to find homes for dogs but educate the public on responsible dog ownership too. Our stand would look more professional and I am sure the public would be drawn to it as they walked by. We work very hard on a voluntary basis to spread awareness of bull breeds and it would be fantastic to get encouragement by winning the competit

The picture below shows our stand at a recent show, how much better would it be if we could win the competition!

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who has responded to our appeal and donated towards  Ramsey's treatment. We haven't yet reached the total needed but have managed to raise enough to have the op done without spending too many sleepless nights wondering how we are going to pay for it!

So due to your generosity the operation went ahead this morning as scheduled. Ramsey is now recovering but the next 48 hours are critical

The picture was taken at Ramsey's foster home a few days before the op.
More news will be added when we have some.

We try not to ask for donations if we can help it, preferring to raise money by holding events, running competitions etc. Unfortunately every now and again something happens which means we need a lot of money in a short space of time. Last week we took in a 5 month old pup who became ill a few hours after arriving in her foster home, she spent the next couple of days in the vets where she sadly lost her life to parvo. This left us with a hefy vets bill, on top of our 'routine' vets bills.
Then on Saturday we took in a bulldog, whose breathing became distressed on the journey and had to go straight to the vets and it has become apparent that he needs a life saving operation on his soft palate which is going to cost in the region of a thousand pounds. His breathing is so distressed that we can't possibly leave him to continue as he is as his quality of life is undoubtedly affected and he will collapse and die one day and he is just 4 years old.

We need to get this operation done NOW, but that will only happen with your help. Please can you spare even just a pound or two to help? Anything would be appreciated. We have to get the op done this week.
