One thing that has been noticeable this year is that we are taking in younger and younger dogs, including full and part litters of puppies, most of which are part Staffie. Unfortunately despite it being well documented that hundreds of Staffies are being put to sleep every month the greed of some motivates them to keep breeding more just to make some easy money. Then when they don't sell by the time they are 8 weeks old and they start eating too much and are more work to care for they are handed over to a rescue. Of course they have not been wormed or vaccinated so this is the first thing we have to get sorted out and then we have to get them onto a decent diet.
Some of these pups are not without problems either, some caused by poor nutrition, but most caused by ignorance and apathy.
Of course for every puppy that we find a home for it is one less home available for an older dog, so that in itself causes problems.
If you or someone you know is thinking of having a litter I beg you to think again, so many dogs are dying unwanted, the pups you breed could be amongst them in the not too distant future.
Don't breed and buy while others die.

We generally don't put pups on the web site as we find homes from applications already received
